Moving to study? You probably won't pay UK customs duty
Personal belongings and used items you bring when relocating to study can qualify for Transfer of Residence (ToR1) relief, which means no import duty or VAT on your own possessions. Many shipping companies just quote freight and leave you to guess. We tell you when you don't need to pay duty at all, and we file the paperwork with HMRC on your behalf.
